Our Story

Founded by Chef Ryan Graham and wife Jacqueline Diaz-Graham in 2020. The company was formed with collaborating agencies to provide meals for first responders and the elderly in the Greater New York Metropolitan Area during the pandemic. Led by Chef Ryan Graham with over 10 years of experience in the food and hospitality industry. Our team of professionals are ready to provide you with the best quality, technique driven and delicious food.

Meet Chef Ryan, Founder & CEO

Chef Ryan was born in Los Angeles but grew up in the East Coast, in South Jersey near Philadelphia.  Growing up, Ryan was influenced by his mother Lisa’s love for cooking and credits his Dad Jeffrey for his entrepreneurial spirit.

As a graduate of Johnson & Whales, Ryan moved to New york City to pursue his passion for cooking.  Starting his path as a dishwasher, cook and moving up to Sous Chef and Executive Chef in a couple of years.  Working in some of the top restaurants in New York City, these experiences developed his knowledge in operations, food and hospitality.
Possessing a genuine interest in social equality, local agriculture and sustainability, Chef Ryan has collaborated with other organizations such as World Central Kitchen and the Migrant kitchen to oversee culinary needs for the food unsecured during the pandemic.  During this time his efforts with these organizations provided more than three million meals to the elderly and essential workers.  

On the consulting side, Chef Ryan has the experience in launching pop-up restaurants, from conceptualization to sourcing purveyors, building out spaces to creating original recipes with recent successes including Mediterranean and Latin fusion, fast casual establishments. When Chef Ryan is in the kitchen, he brings ingenuity along with an appreciation of international flavors and local fresh ingredients and focuses on drawing on his knowledge to developing savory expressions for a diverse clientele.

With over 12 years as a Chef including stints at Marea, the Marc Hotel; Chef Ryan established his culinary experience before launching his very own company.   Hard working, driven and full of passion and dedication, Chef Ryan is now the founder and visionary behind New York-based boutique catering and culinary company.  His focus in the company is the catering along with personalized culinary services for his clientele.
Chef Ryan brings an appreciation of different flavors, use of local fresh ingredients, always prioritizing on flavor and presentation.

Meet Chef Mor

Chef Mor Mbodj is the Chef de Cuisine at Ask Chef Ryan.

Chef Mor was born in Senegal, known for their hospitality l, that is why it is called the country of Teraanga.What is Teraanga? It is a uniquely Senegalese combination of generosity, hospitality and sharing that permeates daily life.

Chef Mor embarked on his professional journey at many esteemed restaurants in New York City, where he quickly garnered attention for his natural and exceptional talents
Chef Mor’s culinary talents extended beyond the restaurant world. He played a key role in one of the biggest companies, Thomas Prite Catering.

Under his guidance, the company saw exponential growth and earned a reputation for delivering exquisite and flawlessly executed dining experiences at a variety of events from corporate functions to lavish weddings.

Throughout his career, Chef Mor has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to elevating the culinary landscape of New York City.
